Our next public performance will be in the Debenhams store 334-338 Oxford Street, London on Tuesday 16th June 2009 between 17:00 and 21:00. Many people have been asking us ‘can we see and hear you perform live?’, well here is you chance. If you are interested in booking the 3 Piece jazz band for your wedding, party or corporate event then why not come to Debenhams, do a little shopping and preview the band before you place a booking.

Lord Mayor’s Show 2008

The Silk Street Hot Seven were featured on the TV today as part of the Lord Mayor’s Show Parade 2008. This is the 5th year the band have taken part in the procession. Although it was raining, it did not stop the band performing lively New Orleans jazz to the crowds. As the open topped bus moved down Princes Street the band performed their rendition of the ‘Whoopin Blues’.

US Elections & Virgin Media

The Silk Street Trio performed for Virgin Media to celebrate the US election night. The jazz band were really well received at this corporate event, successfully lightening the intense atmosphere as the votes came in.

Silk Street entertain Westfield shoppers for opening of new London complex

Silk Street welcomed shoppers today at the opening of Europe’s biggest inner-city shopping complex. As the doors of the House of Fraser opened at 9am, Silk Street were there to strike up the band and welcome keen shoppers to the store, allowing them to shop in style.
