Lord Mayor’s Show 2008
The Silk Street Hot Seven were featured on the TV today as part of the Lord Mayor’s Show Parade 2008. This is the 5th year the band have taken part in the procession. Although it was raining, it did not stop the band performing lively New Orleans jazz to the crowds. As the open topped bus moved down Princes Street the band performed their rendition of the ‘Whoopin Blues’.
